Just like the glitz and glamour of the Golden Era of Las Vegas in the 1950s, CommuniCare has been a showstopper since its debut in 1972, illuminating the stage of accessible, compassionate healthcare for all in South-Central Texas.
Join us for “The Golden Era Gala: A Night in Old Vegas,” hosted by the CommuniCare Health Foundation! All proceeds from this extravagant evening will support the vital programs of CommuniCare, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community health center system. With a star-studded lineup of services, including adult medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, dental care, behavioral health, and specialty care, we’ve been rolling out the red carpet for thousands of uninsured and underinsured residents across Bexar, Hays, Kendall, and, most recently, Comal County!
In 2025 alone, we welcomed 69,140 adult and 72,385 child patients over 590,688 office visits, making a significant impact on the lives of the communities we serve. Your contributions are tax-deductible and will help us keep this magic alive, funding expansion initiatives that allow us to serve even more individuals in need.
So, dress to impress in your most dazzling attire, and prepare for an unforgettable evening filled with neon lights, joyous dancing, and, of course, lots of glitter. Together, let’s bring about the golden era of health in our communities!
Sponsorships for this event start at $3,500.
Individual tickets are available for $175 each.
After September 14th, 2026, individual tickets will increase to $200.

Our Silent Auction will open at noon on Tuesday, October 6th, and close at 9:30 PM on Thursday, October 8th!
All winners will be notified via text message.
If you are a winner who cannot attend the event, our Marketing Team will contact you to coordinate receiving your items.
What to Wear?
Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail attire inspired by the glitz and glamour of 1950s Las Vegas. Think glowing neon lights, sparkling diamonds, and the sultry allure of a cigar bar. Feel free to dress as your favorite star from the fifties or choose something sequined with a classic silhouette.
Please note that jeans are not permitted.
